In 2014 I had the opportunity to attend the 6th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Bali Indonesia. I joined delegates from all over the world at a forum to engage in intercultural dialogue and produce the Bali Declaration. I had the opportunity to meet the Secretary General; Ban Ki-moon and several other high profile delegates. I also ended up working on the communications/report writing team at the forum, an experience that built up my international skill set and adds an awesome boost to my resumé!
